Yes. Each rooms at the spa can acquire 2 people for a session. With this said, if you wish to come in a group of 3, two people will be in one room considered as a couple treatment and the other person in a separate room.

Yes. If you have been here before or a friend has recommended a therapist for a certain massage or facial, please let us know when you make your appointment online or by phone.

The facilities are accessed via elevator or stairs. All features are fully wheelchair accessible there is a reception, massage rooms and tea room all accessible on the site without encountering stairs.

We offer Japanese prenatal massages, with an additional fee of $40, by assigning a trained therapist* for your wellness session. Pregnancy massage reduces stress and promotes relaxation, contributing to a healthier pregnancy.

*Our massage therapists are trained to provide massages suited to the conditions of pregnant women. It is important to mention how many weeks pregnant you are when reserving.

We do not provide Register Massage Therapy at Kiku Wellness.

All Kiku massage technicians are certified by a massage therapy association in Japan to ensure the highest quality standards. Please check your company’s health benefits with our services. Please check with your HR team to make sure that your company covers our massage services.

RELAXATION

-Please remove your shoes before you step on the tatami mats.

-Let’s cultivate silence. Silence energizes you and builds a stronger connection between your body and mind. Cherish the experience.

-We require guests to be 18 years or older to visit the spa. Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Infants and children are not permitted anywhere on site including in the waiting area. Please do not bring children of any age to the spa in order to ensure a relaxing experience for all guests.

-Please put phones on Do Not Disturb before your session starts.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled treatment-time to check-in prior to your treatment. Late arrivals will result in the session time to be reduced to accommodate next appointment. Due to the appointments that we also have in the spa, finishing a treatment on time is essential to make sure that the next appointment is not compromised. Please give us a call if you think that you won’t be able to make it to your appointment. A rescheduling fee will be applied.

Kiku Wellness has a strict cancellation policy. A guest may contact Kiku Wellness via phone or email to cancel or reschedule a booking and receive a full refund up to 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the full half cost of the booking will be charged.

For Group Bookings, We require 48 hours notice and 75% be refunded. 25% will be deducted for the group cancellation.

Try to rest, be nice to yourself and allow your body some time to heal. You may find avoiding alcohol and caffeine is a good idea for a while.

Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water after your treatment. This will help your body heal and flush toxins which may have been stirred up by your treatment. This means at least 1/2 ounce for every pound of body weight. So, a 200 lb man would normally drink at least 100 ounces of water each day, and even more for 24 hours after a treatment.

Please take a hot bath or hot shower to relax your muscles after the massage.

Our Spa is located in Vancouver at 805 West Broadway. We are the tallest office building at the corner of West Broadway and Willow St. Please enter the building and take the elevator to the 5th Floor.

**Please note that the traffic along West Broadway has intensified due to the much anticipated skytrain line to UBC. This has made parking rather challenging, allow for enough time as we can not extend your session due to other booked appointments.

The building does have underground paid parking and the entrance is located off of Willow Street. There is an elevator from the parking lot that will take you to the main lobby. At the main lobby, you will see four elevators which will take you to the 5th floor.

Just yourself! Our therapist team works professionally, with the greatest respect for each individual. A sheet is used to cover the guest during the treatment to respect privacy. Only the area being massaged is uncovered. It is more comfortable to receive a massage when no clothing is worn, but we respect the decision by guests who prefer to keep clothing on.
